Oh Man. Shornbare thought he would never go golf. He even used to drive past golf courses and shout at golfers. And now, mysteriously, he is not only partaking of the sport, but also of its equipment. Oh dear.

In truth he loves the technique, the effortless feeling of striking a good ball (although it doesn't happen too often). The club culture, the gated community feel, he can do without. Municipal golf is where it's at.
