Magic Gloves

The magic gloves are magic no longer. Bought at the beginning of 2006 they have now developed a hole through much good use. For a week or so Shornbare did consider using the glove as a special iPhone glove (to complement a recent purchase) but all he got was a cold finger.

Incidently, the gloves were not gloves for doing magic tricks. The magical aspect of the gloves lay in their apparently small size, fitting hands much bigger than at first seemed possible.

Could Shornbare have fixed the hole? Possibly, but a hole heralds the beginning of the end for Shornbare. Darning it only delays the inevitable. The magic gloves had to go and have now been replaced by (unmagical) woollen gloves.
